Life in Yemen is getting much harder for millions of families today. A long and painful war has made the entire country weak, creating a growing crisis that affects small children first.
The conflict started years ago between government soldiers and Houthi rebel fighters. Recently, new fighting broke out after an attack on Saudi oil factories. Now, people living in almost every major city face severe daily problems and dangerous conditions. United Nations leaders shared a detailed report about the real situation on the ground. They say that more than two million children are now very hungry because they cannot eat regular meals. Medical teams warn that young bodies need healthy food to grow strong and stay alive. However, aid workers cannot bring supplies because heavy fighting blocks the roads. More than 800,000 young people cannot get any basic help right now. In the city of Taiz, rebel groups surround the entire area, so trucks carrying flour and clean water cannot enter neighborhoods safely.
Families in Aden and Taiz just want to find a safe place to live without daily violence. Without open roads and immediate peace, innocent young people will continue to suffer every day.
