Games are getting more expensive

Games have been very expensive for a long time. Thirty years ago, when the first PlayStation came out, games were already costing around £50. This is more than £100 today. But, games have not really gotten more expensive. Consoles, like the Xbox, have gotten more expensive. This is because of a shortage of computer parts. Companies are buying these parts to make their consoles, and this is making them more expensive.

Games are getting more complicated and taking a long time to play. They used to be finished in a weekend, but now they can take thousands of hours. This is because players want to have more control over their games and explore them at their own pace.

Some people are worried that gaming will become a luxury hobby because of the high prices. But, the price of games has stayed stable over the years. The problem is that consoles are getting more expensive, and this is making it hard for people to buy them.
