Overcoming the Fear of Public Speaking

Many people feel nervous when speaking in front of others. This is called the fear of public speaking. It's even more scary when you're speaking in a foreign language. This is because speaking is different from other skills like listening or reading. When you speak, you show your personality to others. This can make you feel like they're judging you.

But there's a way to overcome this fear. You can try to speak in front of people more often, or you can start by speaking to someone who isn't face-to-face with you. This way, you can feel safer and build your confidence.

Some people like to talk to themselves or record themselves speaking. This can help them feel more relaxed and build their confidence. You can also find someone to practise with on the phone or via voice message.
