Kelleys Island Flood

Kelleys Island in Ohio got a lot of rain. It was a record amount of 15 inches. This caused a big flood. The island's mayor, Mr. Ron Erbar, told us about the flood. He said it was the most rain they have ever seen in such a short time. The rain made the island very wet and flooded many areas. The mayor said it will take a couple of weeks for everything to go back to normal. He was very happy that not many things were damaged.

The island got a lot of rain, but it's not raining right now. The mayor said they might get some rain later. He's very thankful that nobody got hurt. We're all thinking of the people on Kelleys Island. They need our help and support right now.

We're glad the mayor is safe. He told us about the flood and how it affected the island. He said they're working hard to clean up and make the island safe again. We're all hoping for the best for Kelleys Island.
