Living in Cities

Hello, I'm Neil. And I'm Georgie. We're talking about cities today. We both live and work in London, which is a very big city. It's bustling, which means there's lots of activity and lots of things going on. I like living in a big city because it's convenient. There's lots of public transport, and you can get things that you need quite easily.

There are also lots of things to do in a big city. We have lots of theatres where you can see plays, and a really good music scene where you can watch and listen to live music. If you like art, there are lots of exhibitions and galleries and museums to visit. But living in a city can also be noisy and dirty and expensive.

We've both lived in other cities apart from London. I used to live in Barcelona, which is quite different to London because it has a beach and the sea on one side and mountains on the other side. You can get to nature quite quickly, which is really nice. We're both looking forward to visiting new cities in the future. I'd like to visit Tbilisi in Georgia, and Georgie would like to visit Rio de Janeiro in Latin America.
